The reviews are in and the Polynesian Cultural Center’s new show is a big hit!

“Ha,” Hawaiian for breath or life, is the new  $3 million production of epic proportions at the Polynesian Cultural Center. It’s an amazing theatrical accomplishment — a tsunami of authentic pageantry teeming and throbbing with the syncopation and synergy of South Seas culture —  with equal parts drama and history.”

Wayne Harada, Honolulu Advertiser Entertainment Critic

This show, and the increased attendance that everyone hopes will follow, represents an important moment in history of the Polynesian Cultural Center. As PCC President Von Orgill recently said, “Fundamentally, what we’re trying to do is continue to support the University the way we always have, continue to provide jobs for the local community the way we always have, and continue to preserve and and share the cultures the way we always have. The new night show is one more way the PCC is building on the legacy of the past.”

Congratulations to everyone at the Polynesian Cultural Center on their “wondrous…superb…amazing…authentic…vibrant…epic… and emotional” show. We look forward to the next big “WOW!”
