Many thanks to the two dozen plus supporters who testified today in favor of the Laie Inn Redevelopment project. The City Council Zoning Committee reviewed the Laie Hotel SMA permit application, you can download a low resolution pdf of the SMA Set here complete with renderings and elevations, and heard testimony from around 30 people – nearly everyone in strong support of the project. The Zoning Committee appears to be in favor of approving the hotel permit application and will vote on the matter once they have reviewed a legal issue that has been raised among City departments. We’ll keep you updated as more info becomes available.

We truly appreciate those who traveled to City Council to testify in person, including some of our wonderful kupuna, along with various residents who have sent in written testimony in support. Mahalo nui!
